Technology Advantages

A synonym for a modern, energy-efficient house is the use of the most functional and latest generation of its production technology – prefabricated wooden houses fully meet these conditions. The constantly rising prices of energy in various forms require more and more effort to minimize its consumption. In a sense, this effort begins at the construction planning stage, so the choice of technology for building a house is of great importance for the subsequent costs of maintaining the house. The Tadeks Fertig Haus company, whose ideology is deeply rooted in the production of houses in the heavy prefabricated wooden technology, provides customers with the opportunity to build their dream house of any shape, with maximum use of its energy efficiency potential.

The main advantages of prefabricated technology include, among others:
Low price – the cost of a house with an area of 80 m2 with interior finishing is comparable to living in a block of flats or building a house using the traditional brick method.
Obtaining excellent thermal parameters with a relatively low wall thickness ensures low operating costs (difficult to achieve at a similar cost in other technologies).
Short construction time – the construction of a fully prefabricated house takes a few days, and it takes only three or four months from signing the contract to handing over the keys and moving in.
Inconvenience of weather conditions during the construction of the building (rain, snow, frost, moisture) without harmful effects, because all elements are made in our factory in closed and controlled conditions.
Healthy microclimate – wood, as a natural raw material, has the ability to self-regulate humidity, creates a unique (difficult to achieve in other technologies) microclimate of the building’s interior. In countries where wooden construction is widespread, the statistical inhabitant of these houses lives even several years longer (such as Scandinavia).
Durability and longevity as a result of the use of modern technological solutions. The oldest timber frame houses preserved in Europe to this day in surprisingly good form are hundreds of years old. (In the Alps, you can find old houses made of unprotected wood).
Unlike other technologies, the construction of a house can take place in winter, because apart from the foundation (which must be prepared in favorable temperature conditions), a prefabricated house does not require any wet work.
An unusual technological advantage is the low weight of the building structure, which reduces the cost of foundations, and is ideal for difficult ground and hydrological conditions, e.g. in areas of mining damage, hard-to-reach places and slopes.
Filling with thermal insulation of the highest quality allows to minimize the thickness of the walls, thanks to which wooden buildings with identical external dimensions have a usable area higher by about 10% compared to brick ones, thus representing similar or better thermal properties.
All materials used by our company for the production of houses are considered fireproof, or have the required fire resistance confirmed by the certificates of individual manufacturers (CKF) and meet the NRI requirements.
Thanks to their uniform structure, the houses are made of heavy, solid KVH and BSH wood construction – fertighaus have a high resistance to tectonic movements (earthquakes). Any damage can be repaired in a very short time and in a simple way. In brick buildings (on the contrary), the resulting cracks and damage usually disqualify for further use and may be suitable for demolition.
Houses in the technology of heavy wooden prefabricated elements – fertighaus, made in accordance with DIN 1052 technology, are characterized by high resistance to strong hurricane winds (no case of serious damage to the building as a result of a storm that would prevent its further use has been recorded in Europe).
Low water impact on the building structure made of selected KVH and BSH wood (as a result of appropriate thermal treatment). Wood-based wood and wood-based panels have the properties of very fast drying in natural conditions (wind, sun), which makes them the most suitable technology for erecting buildings in areas at risk of flooding.
KVH and BSH structural timber used in prefabricated technology is a product for use in modern construction with defined quality criteria. Four-sided planing ensures the fire resistance of structural beams, technical drying to a maximum moisture content of approx. 15 % (+/- 3%) is the basis for abandoning the use of chemical protection of wood, and thanks to the low humidity, the preservation of weight, shapes and dimensions is guaranteed.
After construction, the houses are immediately ready to move in – they do not require seasoning!
The walls and ceilings have excellent acoustic insulation.
In buildings, it is possible to make floor screeds and install underfloor heating on the floors.
The design allows for extremely easy and quick reconstruction, extension or modernization of the building.
Hanging even very heavy shelves and cabinets allows the use of OSB, MFP, STO or Fermacell boards.
A long 30-year warranty period, resulting from the high quality of elements manufactured on a modern machine park with the participation of CNC machines and professional assembly, carried out by specialized teams.
Guarantee of price stability – when signing the contract, you know how much the final cost of the investment will be, which is rather unlikely and subject to constant changes when built in a traditional way.
Guarantee of completion date, by obliging you to build the house within a strictly defined time – booking the construction date on the production line.
Nobility and elegance of form obtained thanks to the use of modern, exclusive materials with high tightness in accordance with the investor’s requirements.

You already know the advantages, now bet on the best!
The above motifs illustrate all the strengths of Tadeks Fertig Haus, because the future of single-family housing belongs to prefabricated timber technology. It should be remembered that from 2021, all newly constructed buildings must meet the requirements that are already commonly used in our company.
