Thermal imaging of structures

Thermal imaging in construction is a non-invasive diagnostic method that assesses the quality of building elements, with particular emphasis on thermal insulation. The standard scope of thermal imaging diagnostics includes testing the quality of insulation installation – checking “difficult” places, the so-called thermal bridges. Generally speaking, it consists in observing infrared radiation emitted by any body with a temperature higher than zero and turning this radiation into an image – visible light. Thanks to the thermal imaging of the building, it is easy to determine the distribution and temperature values in the tested building, and thus we can precisely determine whether the building fully meets the conditions of an energy-efficient building.
